Getting a blog ranked on Google means that when someone types in a certain term or question on Google, your website appears in the search results. This is the main goal of most website owners, and it opens up opportunities to get a lot of traffic to your website. However, there is a catch. How many times have you been on page five of Google’s results? How often do you get to page 2? The click-through rate to the second page is well below one percent. So it is very important to be in the first ten search results (which appear on the first page). If your blog is not in the top ten, few people will see your ad in the search results, and even fewer will click through to your site. - Don’t just rely on the text: Use images and videos to attract more people.
- Get rid of the fluff: People want you to get to the point.
- Keep updating your website and blogs: Keep your information up to date.

6. Using the AIDA model
AIDA is a widely used marketing model that can help you with blog writing. It is divided into four phases: Awareness, interest, desire and action, and can be a great way to structure your articles. The first thing you need to do is get people’s attention, so how are you going to do that? When someone sees your ad in the SERPs or a link on social media, what attracts them? It could be your great headlines or your great images (in the case of social media or on the website itself). Once you’ve captured someone’s attention, you need to generate enough interest to keep them reading and responding to your content. First impressions are crucial, and if your first paragraphs don’t ring true, you’ll lose people. Your reader is now interested, but how do you convert that interest into desire? Now you can talk about the benefits of your topic and perhaps mention in passing how your company can help solve the problem.
